FAQ
- Are all barbering services covered by the licence?Confirm haircuts, shaving, colouring, facial grooming, home services and product sales are authorised where offered. Review municipality approvals, inspection history and restrictions applying to the shop’s actual service menu.
- Do hygiene and sterilisation practices meet local requirements?Inspect tool cleaning, sterilisation, disposable items, towels, handwashing, waste handling, ventilation and pest control. Review staff training and corrective actions from authority inspections rather than relying on the shop’s appearance.
- Can revenue be verified by barber and service?Reconcile point-of-sale records, card settlements, bank deposits and appointment data. Analyse sales, discounts, tips, commissions and product usage by barber, then investigate cash transactions or chair-rental arrangements outside the accounts.
- Will the existing barbers and clients remain?Review visas, contracts, commission structures, schedules, notice periods and restrictive terms. Measure client concentration by barber and assess the risk that staff or regular customers leave after the ownership change.
- What assets and product stock are included?Inspect chairs, wash stations, clippers, sterilisation equipment, POS systems and fit-out by ownership and condition. Count retail and treatment products by batch and expiry, excluding personal or consignment items.
- Which prepaid and service liabilities may transfer?Reconcile memberships, packages, gift cards, deposits, bookings, refunds, complaints and injury claims. Allocate responsibility for services sold or performed before completion and confirm insurance covers the complete treatment menu.
